Kavita Srinivasan,
M Arch
has two masters - in Architecture and City
Planning (M.Arch and M.C.P) - from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),
USA. She is licensed in the US, and LEED
certified (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design). She worked in the US
for a few years before coming to Nepal. She
has worked on large urban designs and
commercial projects internationally, as well
as on small-scale projects in Nepal. The
theme that ties her work together is her
focus on environmental design features. . |

Swasti Bhattarai, B
Arch
loves architecture. She also loves writing
about the subject and this, she takes as a
means to further deepen her understanding
about the profound nature of architecture.
In this issue, she writes about one of the
better examples of modern architecture here,
and she says that she really enjoyed the
task specially since she is writing after a
long sabbath. She has, in the past, been a
regular contributor to Spaces.. |

Sabina
Tandukar, 20,
is doing her third year studies in
Architecture at the Institute of
Engineering, Pulchowk. Her interests are
reading novels and travelling. Besides,
architecture, of course. She declares with
some conviction, “I love architecture and am
passionate about learning to create spaces
that are richly embedded in their
individually challenging contexts.”. |
