Aptly called ‘Amalgam’ the local talent was represented by twenty two artists ranging from senior folks - the late Lain Singh Bangdel, Shashi Shah, Durga Baral, Krishna Manandhar, Shashikala Tiwari, Vijay Thapa and Batsa Gopal Vaidya - to the contemporary artists - Kiran Manandhar, Shyam Lal Shrestha, Ragini Upadhaya and Seema Shah - to the young uns of the Kasthamandap Art Studio (Asha, Binod, Erina, Pradip, Bhairaj and Pramila), Ashmina Ranjit, Gyanmani Ray, Manish Lal Shrestha, Susan Chitrakar and Chirag Bangdel.

Well, it’s that time of year again. October 5, 6, and 7, 2007, have been chosen as the dates to hold the 10th Annual ASA Exhibition by the Association of Students of Architecture, Pulchowk Campus. As usual, office bearers and members of the organizing committee have started doing the rounds to find understanding sponsors while concerned students, particularly those who want to take the occasion as an opportunity to showcase their talents, obviously have started to put finishing touches to their show pieces. This year, the event holds promise to be more interesting than the previous ones. One of the major highlights will be a series of events based on historical research
