  SANA HASTAKALA completes 20 Years

  This year Sana Hastakala completed 20 years of serving small and marginalized craft producers. On 17th December 2009 it celebrated its 20th Anniversary by organizing a special program. During the program, the chairperson of Sana Hastakala, Mr. Sachidananda Shrivastava, gave 20 years service medal to two staffs who have served Sana Hastakala for 20 years.

A self taught contemporary artist from Dharan, Milan has been creating splashes on his never ending search for the other dimension.   Historic Views of Nepal opens in PATAN MUSEUM

  On the 27th December 2009, a collection of rare images was formally unveiled for public viewing at a new gallery in the Patan Museum. The images document portions of Nepal’s history within the past 150 years and include works by Henry Ambrose Oldfield, (1850 – 1863), Dr. Gustave Le Bon (1885), Dr. Kurt Boeck (1899), Dirga Man Chitrakar (1877 – 1951) and Ganesh Man Chitrakar (1906 – 1985).
